Surprise Inside

The bird peeking through the window is just a glimpse of what is inside!

The Bird’s Eye View stamp set is so fun to play with!  You can have the birds sitting on a branch or books…or stack them up to get a giggle when someone opens the card!

How to Make a Rim

  • Save

To make the rim to highlight the bird on the outside of the card, nest two circle dies together when you run them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine!

Watch the video above for complete instructions!

Stampin' Blends Markers

  • Save

The rich colors on the banner and the bird are created using Stampin’ Blends markers.  These are quick drying alcohol markers that come in a pack of two, one light and one dark.  Use them in combination to create depth to your coloring.  They are really fun to use!   Of course, the match the cardstock and Stampin’ Ink pads perfectly!

Masking Technique

  • Save

In order to stack stamped images on top of each other…and have them look good…you need to create a mask.  Watch the video to learn how to use a sticky note for this technique!
