Easily Customizable

There are two ways to make this card – 3D flowers or 2D flowers (stamped and then cut flowers).  The latter is faster.  Make this card with one color of flower or several!

I got my inspiration for this card from https://www.fiorissacreations.com.au.  Check out her blog for more ideas.

I’ve got to be honest, I saw this stamp and die set in the catalog and had to have it, but I was so intimidated by it that it sat on my shelf for 2 months!  I finally decided to figure it out and whoa, it’s way easier than I thought!  Keep scrolling to see some tips that I hope will be helpful to you for making this extra special card!

The Flowering Tulips die set that I use in these cards fit in the MINI Cut & Emboss machine!  There is a great sale going on in March 2022 where you can get this machine for just $48!

Email me with any questions or if you are trying to decide which machine is best for you (the MINI or the standard size).

Tips for Flower Assembly

The Tulip dies come with three different flowers.  See the assembly diagram below. For a six flower bouquet, you’ll need to cut 2 sets of flowers.

Make your flowers extra special by adding dimension.  Use a sponge dauber to highlight the tips of the flowers with ink.  Use your bone folder to gently curve the tips of the flowers, as well. Watch the video for visual instructions.

Tips for Creating the Wrap

Score the 2 ¾” square piece of Crum Cake cardstock on the diagonal as shown. Gently hold one point of the square in the trough of the Paper Trimmer and rotate the opposite end until it is pointing at the 1” guideline on the left.  Score.  Hold the corner that is in the trough again and swivel the top corner to point at the 1” guideline on the right.  Score.   Watch the video for visual instructions.
