If you love a card-making idea that looks great without requiring a table full of supplies, you’re going to love the Cut & Flip Technique. Start with a piece of double-sided Designer Series Paper, cut a strip from the bottom, flip that strip over, and you instantly have two coordinating patterns on your card. Add a sentiment and you can call it done—or add ribbon and embellishments when you want a little something extra.
Video Tutorial
Apparently, I found this technique a little too much fun because I kept wanting to try it with more paper! 😂 Since the cards are so quick and easy to make, that wasn’t exactly a hardship. In the video I’m sharing six card examples for Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, and thank-you cards, along with plenty of card-making tips you can use on lots of other projects too.
Banner Sayings & Soiree Salutations Cards
I used the 3 Banner Punch paired with the Banner Sayings and Soiree Salutations stamps sets to make all the cards shown. The punch works perfectly to quickly cut out the sentiments from those stamp sets. Making the cards was incredibly quick and easy.
