Choose your favorite piece of double-sided paper and then pick a piece of cardstock that coordinates with the card base. You can use that same color as the Greeting Layer or choose another coordinating color.
You have two different “insides” of the card to decorate. One is narrow under the flap. The other “inside” is the traditional card inside. Don’t forget to decorate your envelope, too! Oh and throw a tiny stamp on the back of the card.
5 Ways to Step Up Your Card
You can make this card the super simple say by using the patterned paper to do all of the decorating or you can step it up! Add a narrow stamped layer behind the small front flap.
- Add a stamped layer to the inside flap.
- Add ribbon to wrap around the front.
- Add a bow to the ribbon with the same ribbon.
- Add a bow with a different ribbon.
- Add self-adhesive gems to the front.
