Beautiful gift bags are easy to make! Follow this step-by-step tutorial and make your own from one piece of 12″x12″ double-sided paper! I’ll show you how to cut the paper to leave enough to make perfectly coordinated gift tags!

    • Scored at 1 ½” on all sides

You just need one 12″x 12″ piece of double-sided paper to make one bag and multiple tags!  Choose a coordinating ribbon and you have a gorgeous bag that is really simple to make!

Cut your 12" x 12" piece of paper like this to make one bag and several tags!

Cut along the score lines as shown. Remove the tabs on one piece.

Line up your pieces like this with the inside of the bag facing up to make it easy to glue the tabs in place to form the bag.

    Julie,
    My “secret” to tying bows that are not sideways is to turn whatever medium (bag, card, box) upside down to tie the bow. That didn’t sound right… rotate the project 180 degrees, so that the orientation is upside to me as I look at it. Hope that helps!
