Gift Card Holders for Grads and Teachers | Card Making Tutorial

Do you need a quick gift card or cash holder for a grad or to say thank you to a teacher?  Try this easy one!  I have some tips to make it easy peasy!

Measurements & Supplies

Cutting and Scoring Measurements:

Cardstock card base (Starry Sky):

  • 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” (scored at 4 1/4” and folded)

Colored cardstock layer (Crushed Curry)(2):

  • 5 1/4″ x 4”

Basic White cardstock:

  • 5” x 3 3/4”

Designer Series Paper:

  • 6” x 2 1/4″ and 5” x 3 3/4” (see video for cutting tips)

*Colors are for the middle card in the above photo

  • I’m So Happy For You card uses Crushed Curry ink/cardstock and Starry Sky ink/cardstock.
  • Teacup card uses Fresh Freesia ink/cardstock, Orchid Oasis cardstock, Garden Green ink and Memento Black ink.
  • Thank You card uses Petal Pink ink/cardstock, Crumb Cake cardstock, Sweet Sorbet ink and Memento Black ink.
