Tips for Using Layering Masks

  • Save
To ensure a straight image, line up the mask on grid paper to ensure it is straight. Layer paper on top, lining it up on the grid paper, as well.
  • Save
To keep the paper from shifting, tape it to the mask. Don't worry, this is the "wrong" side of the paper so if the paper tears a bit, you won't see it.

To clean after use or between different colors, just wipe with a baby wipe. Alternatively, you can run it under cool water and blot it with paper towels to dry.
