Are you intimidated by making cards with angles?  I got you!  I share tips in my video tutorial to make it really simple!

What You Need To Make These Bags

Cutting & Scoring Measurements:

Fresh Freesia

  • Card Base: 11” x 5 1/2″
    • Score at 3 1/2” & 7 1/2”
    • Measure short sides at 2 3/4″, cut triangles

Designer Series Paper

  • Inside: 3 7/8” x 5 3/8”
  • Belly Band: 10” x 1”
  • Inside accent pieces (optional): (2) 1” x 1” (cut these off of the excess from belly band)

Basic White

  • Greeting: 2” x 3 3/4″, punched
  • Inside: 2” x 4”, punched

*The supply list includes ALL the supplies I used.   “Uncheck” the items you already own to remove them from the cart.

To get a different look, choose a different patterned paper!

Angle Cutting Tip

  • Save

Mark the center for the short side of the paper (2 3/4″).

Place the mark in the Paper Trimmer.  Hold it with your finger while you rotate the card so that the score line is lined up in the trough of the Paper Trimmer, too.  Now slice off the triangle!  Repeat!

Heat Embossed Variation

Do give your card an extra pop, you can heat emboss on dark paper and wow does it look awesome!

Heat embossing raises your card making to the next level.  You need a few special tools to do this.  Click the button below to view them.

Inspiration

I used the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper for all of these cards!  Then I chose two colors of ink and one color of cardstock for each card.
