Struggling With Masculine Cards? Try This Simple Fun Fold Design

Masculine cards can feel surprisingly hard to make. So many designs lean toward florals or soft colors, and when you need a card for a guy, it’s easy to feel stuck. That’s why I love having a few dependable designs I can turn to—especially ones that look great without a lot of fuss.

Today’s project is a masculine fun fold card that is quick, easy, and incredibly versatile. The fold adds just enough interest to make the card feel special, while still keeping the design clean and straightforward. It’s the kind of card that works beautifully for birthdays, thank you cards, Father’s Day, or any occasion where you want something handmade but not fussy.

Nature's Symphony Cards

For this card, I’m using Stampin’ Up!’s Nature’s Symphony bundle along with the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. The deep, rich colors and natural textures in this paper make it perfect for masculine cards. Add in the foliage images from the stamp set, and you have a combination that feels classic, outdoorsy, and timeless—ideal for nature lovers and outdoorsmen.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you three different ways to make this card, so you can choose the option that fits your style, supplies, and time:

Three card-making options included:

  1. Super simple – stamp directly on patterned paper (no dies required)

  2. Stamp and cut – highlight the foliage with die-cut images

  3. Textured cardstock – use a textured die for added depth and dimension
