Cutting & Scoring Measurements
Basic Beige
- Card Base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
- score at 4 1/4”
Designer Series Paper
- Strips: (3) 3 ½” x 1”
- Inside Strip: 3 ½” x ¾”
Night of Navy
- Embossed Strip: 3 ½” x 1”
- Inside Layer: 4” x 5 ¼”
Basic White
- Circle: 1 ½”
- Butterfly: scrap
- Inside: 3 ¾” x 5”

Christmas Card Variation
I used the same measurements as above to create a Christmas card!
I used the Season of Green and Gold Designer Series Paper, Golden Greenery die cut for the foliage and Christmas Labels Bundle with gold embossing powder for the sentiments.
3D Effect Tip
I learned this tip from Heidi Collins. To make a die cut more 3D use these steps:
- Curve die with your bone folder
- Glue the body of the butterfly down
- Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the wings
It looks like it is flying off the paper! 🦋
Stamp Versatility Tip
I learned this tip from Jackie Bolhuis. If you have a stamp that you don’t like the layout of, don’t hesitate to cut it up!
These butterflies were all on one stamp, but they were in a line which made them difficult to use. By cutting them up, you have the versatility to place them exactly where you want them to be!
