Stamps big and small work perfectly with this layout! Use one large image or stamp small images repeatedly to create an eye-catching focal point. Watch the video for tips and tricks on putting these cards together!
I love the little detail that the linen thread creates under the sentiment layer. It’s so easy to attach and make the thread nice and tight.

TIP: After you’ve stamped the top layer and adhered to your colored cardstock layer, tape the linen thread to the back. Wrap it around 3 times. Turn the cardstock over and line up all the threads so they are equidistant from each other. When you have it where you want it, tape it to the back side and snip. All of that mess will be covered up with glue and attached to your card base!
I used the Sailing Home stamp set for the background and interior decorations on all of these cards. The sentiments are stamped with the Biggest Wish stamp set.

TIP: Play around with place the rectangular focal point layer in the middle of your card like in the photo above or off to the side as in the examples below.
I cut out the sentiments using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, but you could use any other dies you have or just cut them into rectangles. Pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to really make them stand out!
