Peek inside my craft room for the first time!

I’m so nervous to show you all my craft room because I’m a bit embarrassed. Hahaha! I’ll take you on a tour of my room and show you how I organize my cardstock, crafting tools and ink pads!

How I Organize My Stamp Pads

You can organize your ink pads in lots of ways:

  • By color collection (Brights, Neutrals, Regals, Subtles, In Colors)
  • According to the rainbow
  • Color family
  • Equal stacks (for example, 5 stacks of 10)

I organize my ink pads, markers and cardstock by color family.  See below for the order I came up with…this probably isn’t the legit way these colors should be ordered, but this is just what makes sense in my brain.  From left to right they are in stacks of reds, purples, blues, greens, yellows & oranges and grays & browns.

How to Organize Cardstock

I organize my cardstock in magazine holders.  Before each color, I have a larger piece of paper that has the name of the color on it.  Next I have a page protector that stores all the scraps of that one color.  Behing that, I store the full sheets of cardstock.  Then I repeat for each color.

  • Save

Underneath my cardstock, I have a bin that holds all my white cardstock scraps.  Because I use white on almost every card, I wanted to have quick and easy access to this bin.  Yes, I totally spray painted a card board box to use as a shelf to hold my cardstock.  It’s right at the perfect eye level for this short girl!  Hahaha!

How to Store Stamps and Punches

I can’t believe I am showing you all my mess!  Haha!

This is my desk where I work and also where I film my videos.  I need quick access to all my craft supplies, so I keep my stamps, die sets,  embossing folders and punches in open bins.

I keep my stamp sets lined up in the same direction, so I can easily read the titles.  I store the die sets standing on end in the back of the bin.

Click here if you want to see the bin I use.  This is an Amazon link and I will receive a small commission if you purchase through this link.

I store my embossing folders, Stampin’ Pierce Mat, silicone mat and a couple punches in the middle bin.  The third bin on the right has more punches.  I organize them by basic shapes on the left…like circles and ovals.  Other shapes are on the right.

When you order the inks & markers in bundles, you save 10% over buying them individually, so I also added those to the list.
