Have you tried making a Double Z card? It folds up to fit in an envelope! You can use this layout with any stamp set. It works especially well with stamps with long images like this lighthouse. Let me show you how to make it!
Measurements & Supplies
Measurements:
- Large card base (Night of Navy): 11” x 4 1/4″ (scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″)
- Accent color cardstock small card base (Crushed Curry): 10” x 2 3/4″ (scored at 4 3/4″ and 7 1/2″)
- Basic White cardstock layers: 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, 2 1/2” x 2 1/2″, 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
- Basic White cardstock scraps for die cutting: big enough to cut out lighthouse, anchor and/or sailboat.
- Colored cardstock scrap for die cutting steering wheel (Early Espresso)

Make the Set!
Decorate the envelope and the back of the card with stamps and dies. For subtle detail, stamp the large base layer in ink of the same color as the cardstock. I used Night of Navy ink & cardstock to stamp the ropes in all four corners.

Play with the colors to get the exact look you want! The particular cards would be great for Father’s Day, birthday, graduation, thanks or for anyone who loves the sea!
Blending Brush Variations
For the examples above, I used a blending brush to create a sun glow in the card on the left and the blue reflection of the sea in the card on the right.
Birthday Card Variations
In the examples above, I used the Biggest Wish stamp set for the sentiment and omitted the use of the blending brush.
