Easy Pocket Card Using Patterned Paper

Let the double-sided patterned paper do the work in creating the pocket for this fun fold card!  My video is full of tips to make it really easy to make!  I take all the guess work out of cutting your pretty paper and show you the most efficient way to do it!

Measurements

Designer Series Paper

  • Pocket: 10 ¼” x 4”
    • Scored at 5 ¼” & 9 ¼

 

Pretty Peacock

  • Card Backing: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Insert Layer: 3 5/8” x 4 7/8”
  • Strip for pocket closure: 1/2″ x 5 ½”

 

Basic White

  • Stamped Insert: 3 ½” x 4 ¾”
  • Scraps for die cuts

 

Crushed Curry

  • Scrap for die cut

Easily Customizable

The Designer Series Paper will determine the look of your card!  After that, all you need is two colors of cardstock and one ink that coordinate with your DSP!  Add more colors for more variety!

You can add more foliage if you’d like.  The Timeless Arrangements die set has four different foliage pieces to choose from.

Left to Right:

All the cards use the same pack of Designer Series Paper.  I just chose 3 colors to coordinate for the cardstock and ink.  You could use more or less!

  • Moody Mauve card base,  Moody Mauve and Basic White foliage pieces, Moody Mauve ink
  • Pretty Peacock card base,  Crushed Curry foliage pieces, Pretty Peacock ink
  • Crushed Curry card base,  Basic White foliage pieces, Crushed Curry ink
  • Pretty Peacock card base,  Crushed Curry foliage pieces, Crushed Curry and Pretty Peacock inks
