Pocket Card with Pull Tab

Learn to make a simple pocket card! Choose the basic insert or gift card holder option. I’ll show you how to efficiently cut papers in the video below!

Cutting & Scoring Measurements

There are two insert options:

  • Regular insert
  • Gift Card Holder insert

Basic Beige

  • Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4”
    • Score at 4 1/4″ in landscape

 

Designer Series Paper

  • Panels: 5 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • Front Panel: 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
  • Front Strip: 5 1/4″ x 3/4″
  • Back Panel: 5 1/4″ x 1 1/8”
  • Insert Strip: 4 3/8” x 7/8”
  • Envelope: scrap cut down to 3 1/4″

 

Basic White

  • Gift Card Insert Option: 4 1/2” x 4”
    • Score at 1” with 4” at top
  • Insert Option: 4 1/2″ x 3”
  • Greetings: Scrap

Get Ideas!

Choose your favorite pack of Designer Series Paper, one color of ink and cardstock! I used the Keeping Tabs Bundle to create the tab.  You can choose either the punch bundle or the die bundle for the cut out!  

I used the Mediterranean Blooms double sided paper for these cards paired with either a Basic Beige or Night of Navy card base.

Don’t throw away your paper scraps!  I’ll show you how to decorate the insert and the envelope with those little pieces!

Change the Paper for a New Look!

For this example, I used the Take to the Sky DSP, but used the same ink and cardstock as the other cards.
