This fun fold card has an impressive pop out, but is so easy to make! I break it down into simple steps and give you lots of tips including a reusable template idea!
Measurements & Supplies
Cutting and Scoring Measurements:
• Card Base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
• Cardstock layer (front): 3 3/4″ x 5″
• Designer Paper (front): 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
• Sentiment: Basic White cardstock scrap
• Sentiment layer: Designer Paper or cardstock scrap
Pop Out Insert:
• Cardstock liner: 5 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, score at 4 1/8″
• Designer Paper (2): 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″, cut on the diagonal (Piece 1 cut top right to lower left. Piece 2 cut top left to lower right)
• Scrap Cardstock to create pop up template: 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″, cut on the diagonal
All of the cards use the same supplies! Simply "uncheck" any items from the list that you want to remove from your cart.

Create a Pop Out Template
Create a reusable template so that you don’t have to measure every time you want to make this card. Cut a 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ rectangle on the diagonal to create a triangle (throw out the other half of the rectangle). Label it so that you have it for the future!
Cutting Tip
Cut the Designer Paper rectangles to look like this.
- Piece 1: cut top right to lower left
- Piece 2: cut top left to lower right
Use the triangles to decorate the pop out portion of the fun fold card.
