Quick & Easy Christmas Card

Need a quick Christmas card?  This is it!  It’s so quick and easy!  You can also use this layout to make a card for a different occasion just by changing the paper!  Let me show you how easy it is to make this festive card!  Click the video below!

Measurements and Supplies

  • Coordinating cardstock card base:  5 1/2” x 5 1/4” (scored at 4 1/4”)
  • Designer Series Paper: 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • Basic White cardstock scrap for sentiment
  • Basic White cardstock for interior:  5” x 3 3/4″

Included in the supply list are optional items that you can choose to remove if purchasing: more colors of cardstock, gingerbread dies, linen thread, embossing folder.

Let's Get Started

Designer Series Paper makes card making so easy!  They come in a pack of perfectly coordinated designs so you can make lots of different looking cards using the same layout.

Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the 1″ flap of the cardstock.

Add a sentiment to the front of the card and pop it up with Stamin’ Dimensionals.

Add a greeting to the Basic White cardstock and adhere it to the inside of the card.

That’s it!  You are DONE!!!!

Optional Embellishments

For an extra special touch, emboss the front flap!

Get more variety by using different colors of coordinating cardstock. 
Here I used Real Red, Old Olive and Early Espresso.

Cut out the elements in the Designer Series Paper to decorate your card.
You can use the Gingerbread Dies or cut them out with scissors.

Add some ribbon!

Decorate your envelope!
Place glue on the flap of the envelope. Line up the Designer Series Paper along the fold line and press down. Flip the envelope over to trim off the excess.
