I’m always trying to figure out faster ways to create great cards. Today’s tip is to cut up large die cuts into smaller pieces. This saves the time of running lots of pieces through your machine! This is also a great tip if your die set doesn’t come with smaller pieces. Watch my videos for more tips!

Simple or Stepped Up Version
Cutting & Scoring Measurments
Card #1 Simple:
Very Vanilla card base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” (scored at 4 1/4” and folded)
- Very Vanilla layer: 5 1/4” x 4”
- Very Vanilla interior layer: 5 1/4” x 4”
- Crumb Cake cardstock for sentiment die cut
- Soft Succulent cardstock for die cut
- Linen thread: (2) 7” pieces that are taped on the back of the sentiment
Card #2 Stepped Up – add blending brush to age sentiment die cut and a little more stamping and die cutting
- Crumb Cake card base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” (scored at 4 1/4” and folded)
- Very Vanilla layer: 5” X 3 3/4”
- Very Vanilla interior layer: 5 1/4” x 4”
- Crumb Cake cardstock for sentiment die cut
- Soft Succulent cardstock for die cuts
- Linen thread: (2) 7” pieces that are taped on the back of the sentiment

Add That Extra Special Touch
Age the edges of the sentiment layer by brushing on Crum Cake around the edges only. Tape the center of the threads to the back with tape, then straighten them out and tape them in place. Now it will be easy to add it to your card!
