Does cutting angles intimidate you? I’ve got you! Today I’m sharing two ways to cut angles the easy way. Try them and see which one is easiest for you! We will also be making an impressive stand up card (but only you and I will know how simple it is)! I’ve got stamping and die cutting tips to share with you, too! Cutting Measurements
Pebbled Path
- Card Base: 8 1/2″ x 11”
- Mark at 3” from the top on right and at 3” from the bottom on left and then cut diagonally
- Score at 3″ and 6 3/4″
Designer Series Paper
- Large Panel: 4” x 5 1/4″
- Medium Panel: 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Small Panel: 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Basic White
- Medium Panel (optional): 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- Scraps for die cuts and greeting
- Greeting: 1 ¾” x 2 ½” if you want to cut it instead of using a die.

Start by choosing your favorite pack of Designer Series Paper. All of the colors will work perfectly together to make a lot of cards! Next choose one color of cardstock and a couple ink colors. These will match perfectly to the patterned paper because that is what Stampin’ Up! is so awesome at! Choose any focal point for the front of the card!
Below are some ideas for stamping the inside of the cards.

Cutting the Card Base
#1 Diagram of the paper marked at 3″ on both ends.
#2 Line up those marks in the Paper Trimmer.
#3 Cut 2 card bases.
#4 With the straight edge at the top, continue with the scoring measurements.
