Stand Up Fun Fold Card to Use All Winter Long!

This card stands up on it’s own, but also folds flat for mailing!  I love to think of ways to maximize my stamp sets, so I wanted to use a Christmas stamp set to create cards for any occasion all winter long!  This card is easy to make with the paper cutting and time saving tip I have to share with you! Measurements & Supplies

Card Base (insert color of example):

  • Base: 9 3/8” x 4 ¼”
    • scored at 3/8”, 1 3/8”, 2 7/8”, 3 7/8”
  • Front Piece: 5 1/8” x 3 ½”
    • scored at 3/8” & 1 3/8”

 

Stamped Layer (Very Vanilla): 8 1/2″ x 4” stamp along top

  • Cut after stamping to 3 1/2″, 3 3/4″ and 1 1/4″
  • Rotate the 3 1/2″ and trim down to 3 1/4″
  • Scrap for Sentiment Layer

 

Back Layer (Very Vanilla)(optional): 5 ¼” x 4”

I used the Christmas Season stamp set, but changed the colors to work for any occasion this winter.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets, so I hate to only use it for the holidays.  🙂

Time Saving Tip

Stamp on the 8 1/2″ x 4″ piece of paper first and then cut it into pieces!  You can also use patterned paper for a super quick card.
