Get Fresh Card Making Ideas with Patterns!

Making cards just got a whole lot easier with Card Making Patterns!  They are designed to springboard your creativity for how to use the supplies you have.  Measurements and general placement of the elements are provided for each pattern, but you can change it up based on the stamps, ink and paper you are using.

Learn to make 3 patterns (2 simple and 1 fun fold) in the video.  You can pause and rewind to get the measurements.   I’ll show you examples for how I used each pattern to give you ideas for using your supplies.

Written Tutorials

This PDF tutorial includes the diagrams, labels, and measurements for 3 card patterns.  Step-by-step instructions, cutting and scoring measurements, photos, and supply lists are included for 7 example cards.

Creating a Neutral Pallette

Creating a physical card pattern will help you visualize how the layout can be used with the supplies you have!  I like to use a neutral color palette to make it even easier to spark my card making creativity.

  • Card Base:  Smoky Slate
  • Coordinating Layer:  Basic Gray
  • Layer under White:  Basic Black
  • Focal Point:  Basic White
